Manufactured in SS304, SS316, and Carbon Steel at our Thane facility, these filters serve pharmaceutical processing, chemical plants, water treatment, food & beverage production, and textile industries.

Working Principal

The feed liquid enters the filter vessel and passes through the filter element. Solid particles are retained on the filter surface.

When accumulated solids increase the pressure drop to a preset limit (monitored by differential pressure sensors), the automatic cleaning cycle is triggered. A backwash mechanism reverses flow through a small section, dislodging cake which is flushed through a drain valve. Alternatively, a mechanical scraper continuously removes cake.

Filtration continues uninterrupted during cleaning — only a small portion is being cleaned at any moment while the rest filters normally.
