Our RVDF units feature a cloth-covered rotating drum partially submerged in a slurry trough, with vacuum-driven filtration that enables continuous cake formation, washing, dewatering, and discharge in a single operation. Available in SS304, SS316, and Carbon Steel construction, each RVDF is custom-engineered at our Thane manufacturing facility.

Working Principal

The RVDF consists of a cylindrical drum covered with filter medium, partially submerged (approximately one-third) in a semi-circular trough containing the feed slurry. The drum rotates continuously while vacuum is applied internally.

Cake Formation Zone

As the submerged portion rotates through the slurry, vacuum draws liquid through the filter medium, depositing solids as a uniform cake. An inbuilt swinging agitator keeps slurry uniformly suspended.
