Working Principal

Depth Filtration

Liquid passes through a porous filter medium of defined thickness. Particles are trapped within the depth (not just surface), providing high dirt-holding capacity. Commonly used as pre-filter ahead of final membrane filters.

CIP/SIP Capability

The entire assembly — vessel, filter elements, piping, valves — is cleaned and sterilized in-situ using automated protocols. Hot WFI or clean steam is circulated through the system, eliminating the need to disassemble between batches.
