Our duplex bag filter is designed for steam boiler house assemblies as a critical air pollution control device. Performance depends on inlet/outlet gas temperatures, pressure drop, gas velocity, chemical composition, moisture content, acid dew point, particle loading, and size distribution. Manufactured at our Thane facility in SS and Carbon Steel for chemical plants, power generation, cement, food processing, and emission compliance applications.

Working Principal

Dusty gas passes through fabric filter bags. Particles are retained on the bag surface while clean gas passes through. A dust cake forms over time, improving efficiency but increasing pressure drop.

When pressure drop reaches a preset limit, bags are cleaned using pulse jet (compressed air burst), mechanical shaking, or reverse air flow. Dislodged dust falls into a collection hopper.

The duplex configuration features two parallel filter units with isolation valves. One filters while the other is cleaned, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
