Sharpenn Technologies manufactures industrial drum dryers for converting liquid, slurry, or puree materials into dried powder or flakes. Our drum dryers feature a rotating cylindrical drum with precision-machined smooth surface, internally heated by steam. A thin coating of wet material is applied to the drum exterior, and within approximately three-quarters of a revolution the product is dried and removed by a static scraper. Drum drying is one of the most energy-efficient techniques for highly viscous liquids and pureed materials. Available in single-drum and double-drum configurations with SS and CS construction.
